ALWAYS ENOUGH

Enough: occurring in such quantity, quality, or scope as to fully meet demands, needs, or expectations.

Then the Lord said to Elijah, “Go and live in the village of Zarephath, near the city of Sidon. I have instructed a widow there to feed you.” 1 Kings 17:8-9

When God says Go, He will always be with you!!

God told Moses…
The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” Exodus 33:14

God told Joshua…
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

The Psalmist writes…
Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close. Psalm 27:10

Jesus said…
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Back to Elijah… When God says GO and we put God first, there is always enough!! Take a look…

So he went to Zarephath. As he arrived at the gates of the village, he saw a widow gathering sticks, and he asked her, “Would you please bring me a little water in a cup?”
As she was going to get it, he called to her, “Bring me a bite of bread, too.”
But she said, “I swear by the Lord your God that I don’t have a single piece of bread in the house. And I have only a handful of flour left in the jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal, and then my son and I will die.”
But Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid! Go ahead and do just what you’ve said, but make a little bread for me first. Then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son.
For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!”
So she did as Elijah said, and she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days.
There was always enough flour and olive oil left in the containers, just as the Lord had promised through Elijah. 1 Kings 17:10-16

YES! God has never let me down!
But oftentimes I have been just like this widow lady in Zarephath. Overly concerned about the situation that was surrounding me, afraid to let go and let God, always looking at the circumstances and not looking to the One who held my circumstances in His hand. When I do what God says to do, When I go where God says to go, When I seek first God’s Kingdom, He will always be with me and there will always be ENOUGH!

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Prayer: Lead me Lord Jesus and I will follow. You will never leave me nor will you forsake me, with You Jesus, I Always Have Enough! Amen.

The day is already blessed by God Almighty, step into those blessings and GO WITH GOD, because with God, there is Always Enough!

Love folks ❤️

‘A WINK AND A SMILE’ 😉

As I took a walk this morning through our lovely neighborhood God nudged me in an unusual and unexpected way. A Wink and a Smile. Yes, right there in the middle of the road was some sort of fluid that had leaked from a car in the shaped of a Wink and a Smile. At first, I was like, ‘is that what I saw?’ And when I doubled back for a closer examination, I was like ‘Woah, it is!’ That is when God began to speak to my heart. While listening, I recalled the path He set for me two years ago. God even swirled scripture in my head as I unpacked the memories. Here goes…

My child, never forget the things I have taught you.
Store my commands in your heart.
If you do this, you will live many years,
and your life will be satisfying.
Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!
Tie them around your neck as a reminder.
Write them deep within your heart.
Then you will find favor with both God and people,
and you will earn a good reputation.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek His will in all you do,
and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:1-6

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.
“They are plans for good and not for disaster,
to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet
and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105

‘May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace.’ Numbers 6:24-26

Yes! Yes! Lord! Thank you! That wink and a smile was God reminding me that if I continue to follow His lead, blessings will flow. I will always proclaim the following wherever God leads me, ‘I am an imperfect person, telling imperfect people, all about a perfect Savior, Christ Jesus!’
After finishing my walk, God further nudged me to look up the lyrics to the song A Wink and a Smile, by Harry Connick Jr.

Now my heart is music
Such a simple song
Singing again, the notes never end
This is where I belong

Just the sound of your voice
The light in your eyes
You're so far away from yesterday
Together, with a wink and a smile.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you now have me, your imperfect servant Danny Kinder II, exactly where he belongs, with a heart filled with music, listening to the sound of Your precious voice, following the light from Your eyes, far away from yesterday, with a wink and a smile! I love you Jesus! ❤️

The day is already blessed by God Almighty, step into those blessings and follow where God leads, you will not regret it!

Love ya folks ❤️
