KVAS is a non-profit organization promoting astronomy observation and education in the Kanawha Valley. Monthly meetings are typically being held the 3rd Friday of every month over Zoom during the coronavirus pandemic. Normally, meetings are held downstairs at the Camp Virgil Tate lodge. Star parties are being held at the Camp Virgil Tate Breezy Point Observatory with masks and social distancing, w
