A huge “Shout Out” and Heartfelt “Thank You” to Veritas Church for their amazing food drive gift this morning !! Our pantry was nearing it’s early Summer low point, and you helped us fill back up a lot of empty shelves. 🙏🤲

It is time to strap on the feedbag and support Mission of Hope - Cedar Rapids! We will be helping bus tables and 10% of buffet proceeds will be donated by Pizza Ranch to us, helping us help our neighbors. That deal is hard to beat! Please mark you calendar.

Mission of Hope - Cedar Rapids will be closed Memorial Day May 25 opening back up on Tuesday may 26. Food sack meals will be given out one day later on Wednesday from 12 to 1. Have a wonderful holiday see you on Tuesday.

What a great bunch of volunteers from Alliant Energy. These wonderful people signed up to participate in the Day of Caring through Untied Way. They prepared the noon meal for our neighbors which consisted for making ham salad, and pea salad then set up the line with other items we served at lunch. Those not preparing the meal did some cleaning and organized our food pantry among other things too numerous to mention. We are so grateful to the members of our community that volunteer their time to help at the Mission of Hope.

No one goes hungry at the Mission of Hope. Our furry friends take full advantage of what we serve. He is a frequent visitor at lunch time. He even brings the family.
