Today marked the final day of our April 2026 Drivers Education cohort at United We March Forward.

All 6 students passed their written preparation and completed their practical driving session in the parking lot before and next they will be receiving their Iowa learner’s permits.

One of our students is currently supporting a household of 9 and is the only person working in the family right now. For many of our participants, transportation is not just about driving — it is about survival, stability, work, education, and creating opportunity for their families.

Through our Drivers Education & Financial Independence program, participants learn Iowa rules and regulations in their own language while building confidence, safety awareness, and long-term independence.

When one person gains access to transportation, an entire household moves forward.
