HallMar Village is A Joint Ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services.

This senior living community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes as well as long term care suites. With the Village Center at its heart, the design creates vibrant, inviting and comfortable living spaces. Simple wayfinding, integrated features for improved resident care, and a variety of outdoor elements including patios, courtyards, gardening spaces and walking trails, this community is designed and well-suited to an active lifestyle. In addition, HallMar Village is located next to the Chris & Suzy DeWolf Family Innovation Center for Aging & Dementia. The Center will provide valuable services to support people living with dementia, a resource for care partners and families, and a space where best practices in aging and dementia are generated, evaluated and piloted.

🌮🎉 Our recent Mexican-themed meal was a fiesta to remember! Residents enjoyed delicious flavors, festive décor, and great company as we celebrated all things Mexican. From tasty food to wonderful conversations, it was an afternoon filled with fun and community spirit.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this special event so enjoyable! We love bringing residents together through unique dining experiences that take us around the world without leaving HallMar Village.

And the fun isn't over yet! 🇩🇪 Be sure to join us for TOMORROW our next themed dining experience, German Fest, where we'll enjoy traditional German-inspired cuisine and celebrate another rich culture together. We can't wait to see you there!

🎉 👏 Congratulations to Our Matter of Balance Participants! 👏 🎉

This week we celebrate the completion of our Matter of Balance class!

A huge congratulations to all 13 participants who committed to the program and did an amazing job with the exercises, discussions, and class participation.

Matter of Balance is about so much more than exercise. It helps participants build strength, improve balance, increase confidence, and learn practical strategies to reduce the risk of falls. Fall prevention is an important part of maintaining independence, staying active, and supporting overall health and quality of life as we age.

Our participants showed dedication, encouraged one another, and challenged themselves throughout the program. Their hard work is something to be proud of!

Congratulations to all 13 of you on a job well done! Your commitment to your health and well-being is an inspiration, and we hope you continue using the skills and exercises you learned to stay strong, active, confident, and independent.

See You Later, Not Goodbye 💙

Recently we said see you later to an incredible team member who has touched so many lives and left a lasting impact on our HallMar Village family. Mel our beloved receptionist!!! She will be dearly miss as she has moved to another Presbyterian Homes and Services Community in Minnesota to be closer to her daughter and twin granddaughters. While we're sad to see them move on to their next adventure, we're grateful for the laughter, kindness, dedication, and countless memories they've shared with residents and staff alike.

Some people leave footprints on our hearts, and Mel's will certainly remain. Thank you for all you've given, the friendships you've built, and the difference you've made every day.

This isn't goodbye... it's simply see you later. Wishing you happiness, success, and new adventures ahead. You'll always be part of the HallMar family! ❤️

From festive fall events to fitness classes, entertainment, and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy🍂🧡

🌧🚜 Rainy skies couldn't dampen the spirit of our Tractor Parade! Our residents enjoyed the chance to gather with local farmers, admire the tractors, and reminisce about life on the farm.

We share stories, and memories of long days in the fields to tales of the tractors they once drove themselves. It was wonderful to hear the laughter, wisdom, and experiences exchanged.

A heartfelt thank you to the 4 brave men and their tractors from the 2 Cylinder Tractor Club who braved the rian to put smiles on our faces. The stories and connections made today were just as special as the tractors themselves! ❤️🚜
