We appreciate your attendance and support! Thank you for spreading the word on our successes, and the current demand for more places to offer services such as ours.
With a current 20+ wait list, we are looking forward to the challenge of acquiring funding ($350,000), to expand our services giving 20 more Linn county residents and veterans a safe, supportive place to call home, while they face the challenges of rebuilding their lives into something they can be once again proud of.

The Patriot House is throwing together a last minute ribbon cutting ceremony next Tuesday at 1500 to mark the milestone of a wild first year. We've done a lot, and learned a lot. One I've learned is that what we've got going is the real deal, and is working extremely well.
The second, which was even a bigger surprise to me, is how big the actual demand and desire there is for supportive sober housing. With over 20 people currently on a waitlist, I am compelled to expand already to help as many people people as we can.
I have my eyes set on the Moniquire social club down town. An ideal little mansion, that
with a couple walls installed, would make it capible of comfortably homing 20 more people that are ready to fix up mistakes made and just need a little guidance and the space to do so. Most people thought I was crazy to fund the first one. Honestly, I wasn't in a position to do so, but I knew the numbers worked and I knew that I wouldn't let it fail.
Although both things are even more true.
The expansion would actually assist in the capacity to fund much needed staff position.
Running myself that thin again this soon would make it possible that one odd ball situation happens....could bring it all down.
So instead I want to risk your money. Lol.

I know it's short notice. But if you could help me do any of the following I would greatly appreciate it.

- invite 100 of your closest friends and spread the word for both the event and the fundraiser.

Linn County Veteran Services is here to help connect veterans to the benefits they earned. While the department serves walk-ins, appointments are highly encouraged to ensure staff availability, time to research the veteran’s situation prior to the appointment, and to prioritize the veteran’s time by only focusing on their needs during their 60-90 minute appointment.
