🎃 Pumpkins and play on the 2nd grade field trip to Tuttle Orchards! Fall isn't complete without a trip to learn about apples, picking a pumpkin, and running around on the farm.

🛠️ Last Saturday we hosted a property enhancement workday at our land near 146th and Shelbourne Rd in Carmel.

Wrangling weeds, mowing the grass, and beautifying our property are a few of the ways we're investing in the future of CLS.

We continue to prayerfully consider how God would enable us to steward this land well now and in the future!

🐦 Our 5th grade science unit this semester is on birds!

Some of our 5th graders, plus siblings and parents, enjoyed a bird hike field trip at Cool Creek Nature Center guided by a staff member from the Hamilton County Parks Department.

Connecting learning from the classroom with learning outside the classroom fosters a deeper application of the content, plus time for additional discussion and fun!

🎉🏐 What a joy to celebrate our volleyball season handing out awards, reflecting on the skills learned, and lifting one another up with words of encouragement. Our coaches, families, and students gave countless hours to make this season successful.

🐝 Say it, spell it, and say it again!

The Scripps Spelling Bee for Grades 1-8 kicks off the first week of November! The winner will surely experience a rush of a-d-r-e-n-a-l-i-n-e as they advance to the All School Bee in December, and on to the Regional Bee in Indianapolis in April.

📚 Our high school boys had a college visit from Wabash College! They asked good questions and learned about the high caliber academics offered there.

U.S. News and World Report has ranked Wabash College as the top liberal arts college in Indiana for two consecutive years!
