A huge thank you to The Olive Mill for everything they do for us and Cheftacular. If you loved what you tasted last night head over to The Olive Mill on Main Street in Carmel. Good cooking is all about ingredients. The best olive oils and balsamic, plus spices and that incredible bourbon aged Worcestershire Angry Donkey used last night in the bacon jam - all at the Olive Mill. Ritz Charles took grits and created the Judge’s Choice Best Sweet AND the 1st Place Chef/Student Team winner! CHS Student Kaitlynn Hilbert won a $6000 Scholarship from Sullivan University and a $750 Scholarship from Carmel Culinary Boosters! Congratulations to Chef Erin Edds and Kaitlyn for putting the Ritz in grits! A huge thank you to Gordon’s Food Service for the grits challenge! And a big thank you to the Olive Mill for the Blood Orange Olive Oil and the Blackberry Ginger Balsamic that added the glitz making this a winning combination.
