BOLD: Benefits of Learning Dance Changing Lives...One Dance Step at a Time!

BOLD is a nonprofit organization that teaches ballroom dance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. BOLD Benefits of Learning Dance Inc (BOLD) is a nonprofit organization that teaches ballroom dance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In doing so, it provides physical and recreational therapy, social interaction, and music engagement through:



- Instruction in ballroom dance movements and techniques
- Engagement in regular opportunities to practice dance through organized social dancing sessions
- Performances of choreographed group dance formations at dance workshops and events

All of which has the potential to improve the health and wellness of BOLD participants.

BOLD is excited to announce that registration is open for our Get on the Dance Floor Summer Camp!

Details:
– When: July 6-10th, 9am-noon
– Where: Carmel Ballroom Dance Studio, 111 Medical Drive, Carmel, IN
– Who: Anyone in the Special Needs Community age 14+
– Cost: $125 for 5 day camp

Highlights:
– Professional dance instructor
– Daily Fun Activities including Ballroom Dancing, Line Dancing, and more!
– End-of-Camp Showcase!

Today is World Down Syndrome Day because 3/21 represents the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome that creates Down Syndrome in a person.

Join us in celebrating the extraordinary achievements and contributions of individuals with Down Syndrome!

We see the resilience, strength, and positivity in all of our dancers at BOLD and are reminded that there is beauty in diversity. 🌈
