From 2009-2021 the Carmel Green Teen Micro-Grant Program offered funding for volunteer sustainability projects designed and carried out by young people in Carmel or Clay Township in Indiana. Heartfelt thanks to those who have helped make this program a success! We could not have funded 67 youth-led environmental sustainably projects over thirteen years without the support of the City of Carmel an

d so, so many wonderful young people, partner organizations, and adults. Dr. Jane Goodall has had such a huge impact on those involved with the Carmel Green Teen Micro-Grant Program. For those of us who would like to celebrate Dr. Jane's life, there will be a live-stream of her memorial service at 11am EST on November 12 from Washington, DC.

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Dr. Jane Goodall

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. ET, the Jane Goodall Institute USA will host a memorial service at the Washington National Cathedral to honor the extraordinary life and legacy of our founder, Dr. Jane Goodall.

This special gathering will bring together friends, partners, and supporters to reflect on Jane’s profound impact and renew our shared commitment to the hopeful future she inspired.

The service will be broadcast live at JaneGoodall.org for all who wish to join us virtually. 🌍
