🛒 Pennsylvania took an important step toward stronger SNAP benefit protection this week. ✅

💳 The state House unanimously approved HB 2540, legislation to upgrade EBT cards with chip-enabled technology, helping reduce fraud 🔒, support food retailers 🏪, and give SNAP recipients more peace of mind at the checkout.

👏 PFMA thanks Rep. Dan Williams and PA State Rep. Doyle Heffley, chairs of the House Human Services Committee, for championing this important issue.
