Thornwald Home recently welcomed several local Food Trucks and More for everyone to enjoy, including Taco Trap House, Creek View Food Company, The Pretzel Spot, and Ashcombe’s Plants on the Grow Truck. Being part of the local community is important to us. When we share, support, and care for one another, we help strengthen our community together.

The Lebanon Valley Home recently hosted our annual Resident, Family, and Staff Picnic—a special day filled with food, fun, music, activities, laughter, and fellowship! Residents, families, and staff gathered together to enjoy one another’s company and celebrate the wonderful community we share.

It was a true blessing to spend the day with so many people who experience the love, kindness, and compassionate care found at The Lebanon Valley Home. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to come together, make memories, and celebrate the relationships that make our community so special.

The weather was beautiful, but the sun wasn’t the only thing shining. Bright smiles, joyful hearts, and the warmth of fellowship filled the day. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s picnic such a memorable occasion!

This project continues to help us express our mission with greater clarity and consistency while staying rooted in faith, love, and compassion. Summer may be winding down, but things were heating up at UCC Homes’ Corporate Office! 🔥

A big thank-you to our in-house Pitmasters, Craig and Erik, for serving up some friendly lunchtime competition during UCC Homes’ End of Summer Cook-Off. And cheers to everyone who contributed side dishes and desserts—your delicious additions made the menu complete!

After a blind vote from those who sampled each savory selection, Craig took home the Best Pulled Pork award. Congratulations, Craig!

Of course, everyone who gathered around the table was a winner. What a delicious way to celebrate the end of summer!
