Such a fun time this morning supporting Gillian Paterson Byerly and GOTR at their annual 5K at HACC!

EWI ran the face jewel station (as if you couldn’t tell) and one of the cheering stations.

Great job to all the runners, buddies, and coaches! It’s always a great time watching these girls accomplish their goals. 🎉

Join us on May 5th for Session 3 of Elevate Together: Personal Branding & Finding Your Distinctive Voice.

We’re entering an era where evolving technology is creating increasing uniformity in how people think, work, and present themselves - weaking the human skills that drive true differentiation, innovation, and growth.

This session will explore how understanding your intrinsic drivers and distinct value not only makes you irreplaceable in a world of AI, but becomes the foundation of a powerful personal brand that creates motivation, engagement, and innovation within yourself and the organizations you lead.

Featured Speaker:
Shefali Sharma, Founder of Protégé Advising and Professor of Business & Marketing at Drexel University, brings over 15 years of experience helping Fortune 500 brands and emerging leaders uncover their distinct value and build lasting competitive advantage. She is on a mission to combat a world where individuals are becoming indistinguishable—empowering people and organizations to rediscover the human capabilities that drive meaningful innovation, growth, and impact.

Did you know 95% of our decisions are made by our subsconscious mind? Earlier this week, we learned some techniques from Christine M Knapp to help rewire our brains and make the conscious decisions to prioritize ourselves and make time for the things that matter to us most. How much water do you have left in YOUR cup?

Thanks to the guests who joined and to M&T Bank for hosting us. Great to hear about the work they’re doing in our local communities to help get small businesses off the ground!

We had a great time kicking off the year at our January meeting, where we learned more about Executive Women International (EWI) and its founder, H. Lucille Perkins. Her story was truly inspiring, starting the group pre-WWII, continuing to grow it through illness, and passing at the young age of 34. She left behind a legacy that we still honor today through EWI’s traditions.

Thank you to Cheryl Filippini Cuddy and Vision Resources of Central Pennsylvania for hosting us. And welcome to all our new members!

We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead of , , and ! 🎉

The Peyton Walker Foundation is proud to kick off the Heart Heroes Class of 2026 with this inspiring group of advocates. Through Heart Heroes, The Beat Goes On campaign, they are expanding access to life-saving education and equipment and supporting efforts that save lives right here in Central Pennsylvania.

This is just the beginning; we’ll be sharing additional Heart Heroes later this week, and we are incredibly grateful to those who have already stepped forward to make heart health a shared responsibility.
