Voices Boston integrates music with acting and dance, magnifying each child’s expressive capacity. Voices believes that the ability not only to read music but to sight-sing enables children to learn a richer repertoire and to develop their interpretive skills. The integrated music literacy curriculum deepens them as musicians, and enriches their enjoyment of music throughout their lives. We teach

musical concepts and skills through expressive movement, so that the students learn with their bodies and emotions as well as their minds. The result is an ensemble of children who feel at home on stage, are comfortable taking artistic risks, and have a wealth of tools through which they connect with audiences.

Sharing the stage with the New England Philharmonic last night was such an honor for our young singers. They performed Penderecki’s “𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘰“, with such focus and professionalism under the baton of the incredible Ng Tian Hui, Conductor. This was really something special 🎼
