Voices Boston integrates music with acting and dance, magnifying each childโs expressive capacity. Voices believes that the ability not only to read music but to sight-sing enables children to learn a richer repertoire and to develop their interpretive skills. The integrated music literacy curriculum deepens them as musicians, and enriches their enjoyment of music throughout their lives. We teach
musical concepts and skills through expressive movement, so that the students learn with their bodies and emotions as well as their minds. The result is an ensemble of children who feel at home on stage, are comfortable taking artistic risks, and have a wealth of tools through which they connect with audiences.
