The Orthodox Christian Association of Medicine, Psychology, and Religion is a pan-Orthodox association dedicated to supporting the healing work of Orthodox Christian caregivers (doctors, psychologists, therapists, etc.), by offering conferences and publications focused on the integration of faith and work.

With the OCAMPR Conference rapidly approaching, we have an important update regarding our keynote address: His Eminence Archbishop Daniel, whom we were looking forward to welcoming, is no longer able to join us due to unforeseen circumstances.

While we are certainly disappointed not to have Archbishop Daniel with us this year, we are delighted to announce that His Grace Bishop John (Abdalah) has graciously accepted our invitation (on short notice!) to deliver the keynote address. Bishop John brings a wealth of seasoned pastoral experience, deep theological insight, and a longstanding commitment to the integration of faith and healing that aligns beautifully with OCAMPR’s mission. His Grace has served on the OCAMPR advisory committee for nearly a decade and gave a wonderful keynote address to this conference in 2022.

With this update, we are moving forward with great anticipation for a meaningful and memorable conference. Registration remains open, and we encourage you to secure your spot if you have not yet done so.

The 2026 OCAMPR Conference schedule is now live, and this year’s program reflects a diverse gathering of voices across the helping professions and spiritual leadership. Our presenters include clinicians, chaplains, psychologists, physicians, theologians, and pastoral caregivers whose work engages trauma and healing from multiple angles.

This conference is an opportunity for interprofessional dialogue a space where medical, psychological, and spiritual perspectives meet to explore how we accompany people seeking wholeness.
