Brookline, Massachusetts team of Mothers Out Front, a grassroots organization of mothers and others working to get action on climate change through individual (us!) and local (that's Brookline) & state levels. In Brookline, we tagged methane gas leaks (we have over 250), were part of the effort to add 25% more electricity from renewable sources, and organized an energy efficiency house tour for se

veral years. During COVID-19, we have moved our organizing online. We meet monthly for Zoom brunches (usually the second Sunday of the month) and weekly for brief, drop-in meetings on Thursday mornings to take action on one of our campaigns. Congratulations to the Brookline High School Class of 2026 graduates and their families!

Looking for a way to make graduation season less wasteful? Donate your BHS Cap and Gown to the Town Gown Collection Project for reuse in future years! Doing so helps reduce single-use graduation regalia and support younger schoolmates!

Collection bins will be located throughout Graduation on June 7th, and will be moved into the BHS Main Lobby after the event, until June 12th. A collection bin will also be available in the lobby of the Brookline Village Library until June 30th.

The Town Gown Collection Project is a collaboration of current BHS students, faculty, parents/alumni parents, and the DPW’s Zero Waste Program.

"Spring Into Climate Action" with us and learn about the exciting climate work that's being done by the Town and community organizations, and enjoy environmental activities, yard games, crafting stations, a tree ID walk, food, and music!
