Metropolitan Chorale Metropolitan Chorale is a 100-voice auditioned chorus, and one of Boston's premier vocal ensembles.

We are a fun-loving group known for its innovative programming under the baton of Lisa Graham. The Metropolitan Chorale's emphasis on culturally significant programming, combined with excellence in performance, yields a unique artistic contribution to the city of Boston. We are led by Music Director Lisa Graham, four Artists-in-Residence, and an assistant conductor/collaborative pianist.

With extreme gratitude and endless well-wishes for her next adventures, the Metropolitan Chorale announces that Dr. Lisa Graham, its Music Director of 21 years, will step down at the close of the 2024–2025 season. Her departure marks the culmination of more than two decades of visionary leadership and artistic excellence. The Chorale will celebrate Dr. Graham’s legacy at our April concert: “April Fools, Music & Humor” presented at the Strand Theater in Dorchester on Saturday April 26th, 7:30pm. A forty-year veteran of Boston’s professional stages, Jeremiah has played leading roles for the Huntington, American Repertory, New Repertory, and Merrimack Repertory theaters, as well as the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, the Lyric Stage, Shear Madness, and various out-of-town companies passing through Boston. Most recent roles include Tevye, Cyrano, Scrooge, Bernie Madoff, and Richard Nixon. Screen credits include The Town, The Fighter, Joy, Stronger, Castle Rock, Body of Proof, and HBO’s Julia.
