Recovery doesn’t look the same for everyone, and that’s okay. ✨

Some days, recovery means celebrating a major milestone. Other days, it means getting out of bed, asking for help, making a difficult decision, or simply choosing not to give up. 💚

At the FRE Recovery Community Center, we believe there’s no single path to recovery. Everyone deserves to be met where they are, treated with dignity, and supported in building a life that’s meaningful to them. 🫂

You don’t have to have everything figured out to start making changes, and you don’t have to do it alone. 🌿

Connecting, learning, and growing together. 💜

On September 18, RISE case managers Gloriemar Rivera, Blanca Morales Santos, and Charly Gray attended the Blossoming Beyond Bars women’s reentry wellness conference. 🌟

Through workshops, panel discussions, and community connections, they gained valuable resources and insights to better support the women we serve as they rebuild their lives and thrive in their communities. 🫂

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🩷🎗️

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States and the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Hispanic women.

Thank you, Luz Serrano, FRE Recovery Community Center staff, for sharing your experience—breast health is self-care, and no woman should have to face this journey alone. ✨
