Today is World Homeless Day.

Behind every statistic is a neighbor with a name, a story, and dignity. Homelessness can happen to anyone, and getting back on your feet takes more than a meal or a bed. It takes people who believe in you.

At Bridgeport Rescue Mission, we're expanding hope and rebuilding lives through our food and clothing distribution and safe housing programs.

Last week, we had the joy of partnering with Roosevelt Elementary School for their Back to School Night, helping provide students and their families with back-to-school essentials, snacks, and more! 🎒✏️🍎

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community alongside the amazing team at buildOn, who brought a volunteer group to help make the evening possible. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a great night! ❤️
