Returning to school as an adult takes courage, perseverance, and hope. Our students show up each day despite work, family responsibilities, fear, and doubt, and still choose growth, opportunity, and a better future.
Many come to Mercy Learning Center to build confidence, gain skills, find stability, and recognize their full potential. Here, success is not measured only by a diploma, but by dignity, connection, and transformation.
The Class of 2026 reflects the power of education, community, and resilience in action. We are grateful to the staff, volunteers, donors, and partners who make this work possible and walk beside our students every step of the way.
As Maya Angelou said, “You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated.”
