Each year, hundreds of thousands of dollars are raised to cover living expenses and fund education, screenings and other no-cost programs. Vincent's Medical Center Philanthropy Department is the charitable arm of Hartford Healthcare/St. Vincent's Medical Center located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The philanthropy team is charged with identifying and raising funds to support the good work being don

e in the greater Bridgeport community. Vincent’s is dedicated to providing healthy living at every stage of life and enhance life by addressing the unique needs of patients, families and our community. Healthcare education, wellness and disease prevention education is offered through a wealth of resources such as symposiums, classes and support groups. Our outreach programs and partnerships are designed to enhance public health and quality of life in the greater Bridgeport area and improve access to health services for members of the community we serve. We seek to advance medical or healthcare knowledge through education and relieve or enhance any ongoing public healthcare efforts. Our programs reach adults and teenagers, men and women, infants and seniors, providing health education and care regardless of ability to pay.

Honor a loved one or promote a business directly on the streets of Bridgeport for an entire year while supporting St Vincent’s Medical Center’s Swim Across the Sound. Join our Paint the City Blue banner campaign.
While many organizations focus on research, the Swim Across the Sound raises funds that directly and immediately help cancer patients in our area regardless of where they receive treatment. The Swim assistance fund covers costs that medical insurance does not like rent, utilities, and transportation to treatment. These beautiful banners represent the safety net we are building for our neighbors during their most difficult moments.
