🏅🎉 Today we celebrated the conclusion of another successful year of the McGivney Community Center's After School Program!

Our End-of-Year Awards Ceremony recognized the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of our members throughout the 2025-2026 school year. From homework assistance and tutoring to enrichment activities, leadership opportunities, and new friendships, it has been a year filled with learning and growth.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive families, volunteers, and community partners who help make our mission possible each day.

Congratulations to all of our members on a fantastic year! We are so proud of you and look forward to seeing many of you this summer at McGivney Summer Camp! ☀️💚

Back in 2022, McGivney Community Center Board Member Tom Matthews powered through the pouring rain during Vazzy’s 29th Annual Charity Golf Tournament — proving that a little rain can’t stop dedication to a great cause! ☔️⛳️💚

We’re excited to announce that Vazzy’s 33rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Mill River Country Club in Stratford, CT

Proceeds from the tournament will help support the educational and enriching programs provided by the McGivney Community Center’s Summer Camp for local youth and families.

Our members had so much fun creating bright and colorful paper butterflies during arts & crafts time this week. Activities like these give kids the chance to express their creativity, build confidence, and enjoy time together in a positive environment. 🦋🎨
