The Connect-Us Youth Leadership Team meeting today was very dynamic.

Our discussion topic was AI. As it was last week as well. The team first met together in the large group. We then moved to breakouts where each break out group was given a series of questions to answer/discuss.

1: Could AI bring serious harm to society? Is the harm of AI a hoax?
What kind of harm would AI inflict (physical or mental) on people?

2: The common mission shared through major AI companies is to build reliable, supportive, and energy efficient AI models to solve global problems and improve quality of living. To what extent do you believe AI will support societal development? Can the proposed overwhelming good justify the existence of artificial intelligence?

3: The advancement of AI will have a significant impact on the global economy; from the industrial, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, etc. How is AI affecting the job market today? How could it look in the future? And what legislation could be passed to negate any negative effects within the job market?

The team then came back together to share their various conversations and invited the broader team to give feedback.

Great job today team!!!
