As we take a moment to thank our generous donors who keep our mission alive, we also want to highlight our incredible volunteers. The beach cleanup from April is a perfect example of true community spirit. We hope you enjoy seeing our volunteers hard work. Thank you to everyone who supports our cause—we couldn’t do it without you!

It takes a village, and Shoreline Village CT wants to thank everyone who made our 15th Anniversary Party so extraordinary. To our incredible volunteers, our dedicated board members, and all our wonderful sponsors—your energy, passion, and support made this day possible. And to all of the villagers—our members—who joined us, your presence lit up the room. We couldn’t have done it without you. Because, after all, it takes a village to build a village. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

An extra special mention to Ascend Bank, The Guilford Foundation, The Branford Community Foundation, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and to our sponsors at Senior Care Authority and FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Madison, CT 🕊️

The SHORELINE VILLAGE would like to thank The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven for their 2026 grant. With the money granted, the SHORELINE VILLAGE can continue to serve more seniors who are aging in their own homes. We are very grateful for the trust and support of the Foundation.

Through their dedication to strengthening communities and fostering meaningful connections, they have made a significant impact on the work we do. Their support helps us continue supporting and empowering older adults to age in place with dignity, independence, and connection.

The SHORELINE VILLAGE CT is a non-profit, member-led community of active, resourceful, and forward-thinking people. We are dedicated to helping each other age at home among friends, neighbors and family. Our mission is to provide services and activities that empower seniors to grow older in the homes and neighborhoods that they love. Members give or receive help with: household tasks, errands or rides to appointments; receive referrals for home repair or other needs; plus meet other seniors at regular walks, social events, cultural outings, and more.

We are part of the national Village movement that is redefining how people can age at home with the help of a Village community.
