Millie's Wish

Millie's Wish Millie Caurso was a devoted teacher at Tisko School for 30
years.

Her unwavering devotion to all our children, especially
those struggling and in need of support, has inspired us to initiate
Millie’s Wish, a nonprofit organization (501c). In honor of Millie Caurso, Millie’s Wish will ensure that all our youth have access to academic, social and emotional support. Millie’s wish will provide ALL of our shoreline youth with the opportunity to achieve their optimal

potential and become independent life-long learners. We provide tutoring, college scholarships, and assistance in social skills for students with learning disabilities, socioeconomic barriers, neurodivergent obstacles, etc. Millie believed every student deserved to have an education, and we are dedicated to fulfilling her wish.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Millie's Wish's first fundraiser a success! We raised $1,353 in raffle tickets alone. In addition to helping this organization get its feet off the ground, this money will go to scholarships for children who are often ignored and who have underlying obstacles that they must work through in order to succeed.

Thank you to Donovan's Reef for the delicious food and for helping this event run so smoothly. Thank you to our sponsors who helped fund this event. Finally, thank you again for everyone who came and donated to Millie's Wish! We hope to continue raising money for shoreline kids to support their education!
