Musical Art Society of Branford

Musical Art Society of Branford Cultural arts organization in Branford, CT New members, sponsors and donations for our scholarship are always welcome.

A non-profit organization founded in 1920 whose mission is to support and promote excellence in music in the community. It presents several free concerts each year which are open to the public, and runs an annual scholarship fundraiser to raise money for a music scholarship for a graduating high school senior. Dues are $20 for an individual, $30 for a household. Officers for the 2011-12 season:

The Connecticut State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA) and the Musical Arts Society of Branford are proud to present pianist Fr. Sean Duggan in a lecture-recital titled โ€œThe Spirituality of Bach: Composer, Performer, Teacher, Theologian.โ€ The program will feature excerpts from the Inventions and Sinfonias, the Notebook for Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, The Well-Tempered Clavier, and The Art of Fugue.
