Since its inception in 1985, Father's Day Weekend in Branford has become synonymous with The Branford Festival. The Historic Town Green is transformed into a festival of crafts, activities, food, live music and much, much more. Whatever your interests, there is something available for the entire family

Ever wonder who actually makes The Fest happen? 👀

The Branford Festival is built by our community, for our community. The people who plan The Fest are the very people you see around town every day—your neighbors, friends, and familiar faces who volunteer their time to organize the entertainment, activities, vendors, and countless details that make The Fest a tradition worth celebrating.

And we want you (yes, YOU!) to be part of it.

Have an idea, a skill, or simply want to get involved? Join our next Committee Meeting to meet our volunteers, learn what goes into making The Fest happen, and discover how you can shape the event. Our Committee meets monthly, with additional help as we get closer to Festival weekend.

The results are in! The Branford Festival is thrilled to announce we were voted runner-up Best Area Attratcion by Zip06CT 🏅

Committee members Scott Towers and Steva Pochesci received this award on our behalf at Zip06’s Best on the Shoreline Awards Dinner.

Thank you to all of our community members who attend the Fest and make it the celebration that it is. We appreciate you voting for us to earn this award!

Tonight we hosted our annual President’s Reception to celebrate another successful Branford Festival 💚🤍

This event was small token of our appreciation to the many volunteers, committee members, board members, and sponsors who donate their time, talent, and resources to bring the Fest to our community each year.

Special thanks to the artist of our 2026 Signature Print, Marcello LaGreca of LaGreca Aerial Photography , for joining us to sign some limited edition prints! More on that 😏

Happy Fourth of July 🇺🇸

Today, as our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, we reflect on the freedoms, traditions, and sense of community that bring us together.

The Branford Festival was honored to commemorate this historic milestone during this year’s event. We thank Reverend Bill Keene for his moving reading, and the Stony Creek Fife & Drum Corps for helping us honor America’s 250th anniversary with their performance. Their contributions made this year’s Fest even more meaningful, reminding us of the rich history we share and the community spirit that continues to define Branford.

Our Volunteer Committee 💚 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

They are the backbone and heartbeat of the Fest. Year-round, they plan, problem-solve, and coordinate to bring this event to life. Especially the week of the Fest and festival weekend, their hard work, dedication, and long hours are what turn ideas into reality.

We could not do this without them. This team deserves the biggest thank you for everything they give (seen and unseen) to make the Fest a success for our community.
