Celebrating Our Stingray Scholar Athletes! 🏊

We are proud to recognize and congratulate the following Stingray swimmers who earned Connecticut Swimming Scholar Athlete recognition for the 2025–2026 Short Course season and the 2026 Long Course season!

This honor recognizes swimmers who have completed 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, achieved a minimum 3.5 GPA, and competed in the CT Senior Championships or at least five USA Swimming meets during the year.

Congratulations to our Stingray Scholar Athletes:
James Crozier
Kate Fogarty
Avery Parmley
Jasper Perry
Muiriel Rader
Diggy Starkey
Quin Walz

Our Scholar Athletes will be recognized at the CT Swimming Annual Banquet on November 1, 2026, at the Aqua Turf Club.

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to honor some of our incredible staff with Years of Service Awards celebrating 5, 10, and 15 years of dedication to the YMCA!

We are so grateful for the time, talent, and heart each of these team members brings to our Y and the community. Your commitment truly makes a difference!

We also enjoyed spending time together outside of work with a good old-fashioned staff cookout! It was a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, laughter, and even better company.

Thank you to all of our amazing staff for everything you do! We are so lucky to have you on our team!
