INYC Auxiliary

INYC Auxiliary INYC Auxiliary is family and friends of members of the Indian Neck Yacht Club!

01/15/2026

INYC Family & Friends,

Our fellow club member, Steve Anderson, tore ligaments in his foot and will be undergoing surgery. As a result of this fall he has significant uncovered medical expenses.

In support of Steve and to help offset these uncovered medical expenses, our Commodore will be hosting a benefit on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Joe Acquarulo has donated and will be in the kitchen preparing a pork or chicken entrée. The women's auxilary has donated all side dishes, salad, and bread.

We are asking members to contribute desserts & raffle prizes.

There is an event scheduled the night before, so the tables and chairs will already be out. We kindly ask members to assist with setting up the hall that morning and breaking down after the benefit concludes.

Raffle:

With the support of the INYC Auxiliary, we will be organizing a raffle and are seeking raffle donations. A 50/50 raffle will also be held. If you plan to donate a raffle item, please email me to let me know what the item is. Please drop the item off to the club by Friday 1/30/26.

Event Details:

What: Benefit for Steve Andersen
When: February 1, 2026
Time: 3:00 PM
Cost: $15 per person

Please let me know — by email, cell, or commenting below — if you are able to help in any way. If you are unable to attend but would still like to contribute to the benefit, feel free to reach out so we can make arrangements.

Please RSVP if you will be attending no later than Thursday 1/29/26.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

🌊 Final Week to Help Stuff-A-Boat for the Branford Food Pantry! 🛥️

Our Auxiliary is in the final push to collect donations for the Branford Food Pantry, and we need your help!
📦 Donations can be dropped off in the designated boxes at the club all week long.

We’ll be delivering all items early Saturday, November 15th, so please get your contributions in before then!
The Food Pantry is especially in need of:
🍎 Kid Snacks – raisins (small boxes), fruit cups, cheese crackers, pretzels, granola bars
🥫 Non-Perishable & Non-Expired Items – cereal, canned meat or fish, baked beans, peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, soup, pasta sauce, rice, canned fruit & veggies, gluten-free items, jello/pudding, and other shelf-stable goods
Every donation—big or small—helps feed local families this season. 💚

Let’s come together and stuff that boat! 🚤💪

🎄✨ **LEGO’s for LOGAN** ✨🎄

💛 This heartwarming local non-profit collects **new, unwrapped LEGOs** to create care packages for kids battling **childhood cancer**—spreading smiles near and far! 💛

🌟 **In honor of Logan** 🌟
Logan was diagnosed with **ependymoma brain cancer** in February 2014. Despite his challenges, LEGOs brought him joy, escape, and the feeling of being a normal kid. 🧸❤️ After tough days filled with doctor visits and treatments, Logan would head straight to the gift shop for a LEGO set. 🧩✨ Building them brought him peace and bravery during his fight.

💔 Logan fought hard but sadly lost his battle in September 2018.

This organization continues his legacy by bringing the same joy and hope to other kids like him—one LEGO set at a time! 🥰🦸‍♂️

🎁 **How YOU can help:**
👉 Drop your donation of **new, unwrapped LEGOs** in the collection box by the **Christmas tree** 🌲 in the hall!
📅 Donations accepted through **Sunday, 12/15**, during the **Kid’s Christmas Breakfast with Santa** 🎅🎉

💫 Together, let’s honor Logan’s brave spirit and put smiles on the faces of children who need it most. 🥹💞
