Who We Serve:
We provide services to Civilians, Gold Star Families, Veterans, children who have lost a sibling or parent, and all Emergency Responders directly impacted by these tragedies. National Center for Health Statistics, over 50,000 children die each year in the United States. The loss of a child can have long-term effects on parents, including increased depression, neglect of self-care, and additional health issues, even 18 years after the loss, according to a study by the National Institute of Health. Moreover, KDVR Fox 31 News reports that approximately 80% of marriages end in divorce following the death of a child. These effects are also seen in children who have lost a sibling or parent. Our Approach:
Our unique therapy practices utilize office spaces, outdoor environments, and equine-facilitated psychotherapy (EFP), where the horse acts as a co-facilitator. Studies have shown that this approach can significantly reduce the long-term and short-term effects of grief on families and individuals. We also offer fundraising services to provide temporary financial aid to the family in need, as well as support groups and camps to help process the trauma. Our Vision:
We aim to acquire property to establish an Equine Campground Facility, providing a place of understanding, comfort, healing, and growth around the clock. Grief and PTSD can trigger at any time, and our facility's unique design will offer continuous support and healing, fostering success, happiness, and understanding.
