APPLICATIONS ARE LIVE! 🎉 We are seeking Colorado based creatives of color for our 6th annual Community Roots Art Festival! That’s marketplace vendors, performers, and food/drink vendors. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting your creative pursuit...THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO APPLY 🙌

Our two day festival will take place at VisionQuest Brewery (Boulder, CO) from Saturday, Sept 19th to Sunday, Sept 20th 2026.

If you’ve attended before, we’re excited to welcome you back. If you’re new here, hello! 👋🏽

A short (re)introduction to Community Roots Art Festival (CRAFt):

Our mission is to support emerging and established Colorado-based creatives of color by providing opportunities that break down economic and social barriers, contributing to an environment where they can thrive.

We envision a future in which Colorado’s arts community is a diverse, equitable, and inclusive industry-one that prioritizes, celebrates, and uplifts local creatives of color as leaders and change-makers.

In the coming months, we’ll be announcing applications for creatives, volunteer opportunities and updates on the festival. Stay tuned! 👀

Board applications are now OPEN 🤩 CRAFt continues to grow year after year, and we need more human power to manage this growth sustainably. We are currently recruiting for board members that have experience in and are interested in:

✨ Finance Officer: Finance, budgeting, expense 
✨ Outreach Officer: outreach to creatives (booking musicians, recruiting food and art market vendors)

Even if you do not have these skillsets, please consider applying if you have interest. As a small organization, we value a diversity of opinions, backgrounds and experience.

Wondering how you can support CRAFt this weekend? 🤔

A portion of your beer purchase (artwork by the talented !!) and all ticket donations go back towards CRAFt 🍻🎟️

This helps us continue to:
✨ Charge ZERO fees for artists and business vendors to participate. We also provide free rentals of tents, tables, chairs, and other supplies to lift large operational costs off of vendors.
✨ Pay all of our performers and share openly what others are earning from us to cultivate equity.
✨ Provide free professional headshots, business cards, and promotional materials to boost our creatives’ careers.
✨ Connect creatives with opportunities in our network such as other gigs, artist calls, and more.

CRAFt is THIS WEEKEND y’all! Have you grabbed a ticket yet? Our 5th annual festival will be happening Saturday and Sunday - Showcasing nearly 100 local creatives of color: artists, performers, food & drink vendors.

We are honored and thrilled to be celebrating Colorado’s BIPOC creatives over two days: Saturday, September 13th - Sunday, September 14th. We’ll be out there each day from 12pm-6pm.
