Sunday fun-day done right! ☀️ We had the absolute best time welcoming our incredible 2026-2027 CWEF scholar cohort at Eisenhower Park last weekend.

From co****le, giant Jenga and Connect 4, to sharing delicious snacks and stories, it was the perfect afternoon of connection. Our board members loved getting to know these phenomenal women who are shaping the future of Colorado.

We are so proud to support this cohort on their educational journeys. Welcome to the CWEF family! 🎓✨

Did you know that roughly 1 in 5 undergraduate students are raising children while earning their degrees? For single mothers, balancing textbooks, childcare, and budgets isn't just a balancing act—it's a heroic feat. ❤️

CWEF is dedicated to easing that burden. Through our scholarships, we invest directly in the education, futures, and families of Colorado’s single moms. When you support a mother’s education, you change the trajectory of her entire family.

To our resilient CWEF scholars: We see your hard work, your late-night study sessions, and your unwavering dedication to building a brighter future. We are honored to stand with you.

In exactly one week, we honor the rich history and vibrant contributions of Hispanic Heritage Month. At the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation, we believe that empowering women over 25 with the resources to pursue their education doesn't just change individual lives; it uplifts entire families and legacies.

In this video, just a few of our incredible scholars share their powerful stories of determination, overcoming obstacles, and reclaiming their futures. Their voices remind us that it is never too late to learn, lead, and inspire the next generation. We are so proud to stand behind these women as they rewrite their stories and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.

We are beyond proud of recent CWEF graduate Heather who will be starting a job as a school counselor at an elementary school this August! She describes feeling: "empowered, proud, excited, and nervous" after graduating. Scholars like Heather are exactly why we provide the funding we do to non-traditional women over the age of 25 pursuing their education. Congratulations Heather!!
