Eckhart Tolle Foundation

Eckhart Tolle Foundation Dedicated to the awakening of human consciousness.

Formed in 2016, the Eckhart Tolle Foundation focuses primarily on awakening human consciousness, as well as alleviating – and ultimately ending – the suffering created by the dysfunction of the egoic human mind. We accomplish this through making Eckhart Tolle’s teachings available to communities in need, and by funding and collaborating with like-minded organizations, especially those who work wit

h youth and students, incarcerated people, hospice patients and the elderly, animals, and other vulnerable beings.

We’re honored to announce that “Embodied Presence: A Journey For Inner Freedom” is now available through the Foundation to a wider audience.

If you’ve been following our Prison Outreach Initiative, you know the profound impact this course has had. Over 22,500 incarcerated learners have engaged with these resources through our partnership with Edovo, bringing Eckhart’s teachings to over 1,500 correctional facilities across the United States. The feedback has been extraordinary.

Now, that same journey is available to anyone whose life has been touched by incarceration: friends and family of incarcerated individuals, formerly incarcerated individuals, and those working in anti-recidivism. This self-paced online course is offered at no cost as part of our commitment to accessibility.

At the Eckhart Tolle Foundation, we believe Presence creates a ripple of healing, compassion, and transformation that extends far beyond the individual. Each year, we are honored to support organizations bringing awareness, connection, and care into communities around the world.

We are proud to announce our 2026 grant recipients, mission-aligned partners whose work reflects the Foundation’s commitment to easing suffering and supporting human awakening in deeply meaningful, practical ways. From schools and correctional facilities to youth programs and healing initiatives, these organizations are helping people reconnect to themselves, their communities, and the present moment.

Together, these grantees represent a growing movement translating Presence into action through education, healing, mentorship, rehabilitation, and community care. Congratulations to our 2026 Grant Recipients!

“There’s an ancient saying ‘find death before death finds you.’ And finding death means to disidentify from the physical form so you realize you do not derive your sense of self, or sense of who you are, your identity from the physical vehicle.”
—Eckhart Tolle

In late 2025, Eckhart visited Regional Hospice’s Center for Comfort Care & Healing in Danbury, Connecticut, offering a deeply moving talk for patients, families, and caregivers. Through our Hospice & Elderly Outreach Initiative, the Foundation provides access to Eckhart’s teachings as a source of comfort, peace, and support during the end-of-life journey. We are deeply grateful for community members like Edith Alig Gagné, whose dedication to sharing Eckhart’s teachings has touched lives across her community in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Edith has gone above and beyond, coordinating the distribution of A New Earth to the Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health and Thunder Bay Correctional Center.

In Edith’s own words: “Thank you so much for all you do. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share Eckhart’s teachings.”

Thank you, Edith for bringing Eckhart’s teachings to your corner of the world!

“Whatever age you are at now, die before you die. Let go of identifications—identification with the body, identification with things, identification with status. Go deeper where you are yourself without needing to derive your identity from something else.” —Eckhart Tolle
