Last week, we celebrated at the MA State House! The Langham, Boston, who we've partnered with on several occasions, was the small mid-size Organization Honoree for the The Massachusetts Permanent Commission on the Status of Persons with Disabilities. Congrats to The Langham and thanks to Robin White for the PYD shoutout during her speech! 🌟👏

To celebrate , we're dedicating this to the past year's Mock Interviews! These exercises help students build confidence to ace their next job interview. This year, we held these interactive lessons at five locations and watched in real time as students built their work readiness skills. 👏

NDEAM is an annual recognition of the positive impact of people with disabilities in the American workforce. We want to take this month to celebrate our PYD youth for their hard work and success in the workforce! This year’s NDEAM theme is "Celebrating Value and Talent", which we will do throughout this month for our youth and community 🎉

Let's give a warm PYD welcome to our newest Board Member, Casey Doherty ()! Casey is a disabled scholar, organizer, and disability policy expert. She is also a recent inductee of the Susan M. Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame, a former Dinah F.B. Cohen Fellow, and the founder of Disability Policy Foundry! We look forward to working with Casey in this capacity and are excited to have her voice on the Board of Directors. 👏

It's another , here at PYD! Today, we're shining a spotlight on CrimsonRise 🌟

The CrimsonRise spellers are a collective of pioneering nonspeaking autistic advocates, artists, mentors, and philosophers who have fundamentally redefined the disability movement. You can learn more about their work and mission at crimsonrise.org!

A few weeks ago, students participated in a week long program, Career Camp! During the week, participants worked on resumes, interviews, and had a chance to practice scenarios in our Job Lab through workstations. 👏
