We had a great day of hands-on learning at FoxRock Farms!🌱🐝

Our Young Leaders from Blue Hill visited FoxRock Farms last week for an engaging farm tour filled with exploration, learning, and plenty of new experiences. From checking out the gardens and apiary to learning about livestock, agriculture, and sustainable farming practices, our Young Leaders got an up-close look at the many career pathways connected to the world of agriculture.

Some even got to try fresh vegetables from the garden and learn more about beekeeping, sparking conversations and curiosity that continued long after the visit.

A huge thank you to FoxRock Farms for welcoming our Young Leaders and creating such a meaningful learning experience. We’re grateful for partners who help our young people discover new interests, industries, and possibilities for their futures. 💙

This summer, our Healthcare Pathways participants turned classrooms, campuses, and hands-on experiences into opportunities to explore careers in healthcare! 🩺💙

Through partnerships with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Northeastern University, Boston Medical Center, and more, Club members built real-world skills, earned certifications, connected with healthcare professionals, and gained a closer look at the many pathways available in the healthcare field.

From CPR and First Aid certification to IV simulation training, medical science workshops, professional development, and career exploration, our young people spent the summer preparing for their futures and discovering what’s possible.

The future of healthcare is bright and these future leaders are just getting started! ✨

We’re excited to celebrate the opening of our newest Teen Fuel Zone at Yawkey Club of Roxbury! 💙

Made possible through the generous support of BJ's Wholesale Club, this marks the 3rd Teen Fuel Zone at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, joining the Gerald and Darlene Jordan Club in Chelsea and the Josh Kraft Mattapan Teen Center!

Fuel Zones provide teens with free, healthy snacks and meals during Club hours, but the impact goes far beyond nutrition. By making food accessible right at the Club, teens can stay engaged longer while building independence and life skills through food prep, responsibility and shared spaces.

These spaces also help strengthen connection and create a greater sense of belonging. Meeting basic needs like food access can make a meaningful difference in teen engagement, safety and long-term success.

Thank you, BJ's Wholesale Club, for investing in our teens and helping us expand access to Fuel Zones at Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston! 🙌
