Common Cause sent a formal letter to all Massachusetts U.S. Senate candidates, urging them to call for the voluntary disclosure of any “dark money” contributions.

This action follows an FEC complaint filed by the Campaign Legal Center, which alleges that a dark money group called MA Progress Action may have violated federal campaign finance independent expenditure laws regarding the race.
