Trinity Boston Connects

Trinity Boston Connects We work to heal the traumatic impact of systemic racism on youth of color in Boston. Its three programs work in tandem to accomplish its goals.
1.

Established in 2007 as a social justice arm of Trinity Church in the City of Boston, Trinity Boston Foundation works to improve the odds for Boston's underserved youth. Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP) is an educational enrichment and leadership development program that guides young people from middle school to and through college.
2. Sole Train: Boston Runs Together embeds free, ch

aracter-building, non-competitive running and mentoring teams at nine Boston public schools.
3. Trinity Boston Counseling Center provides clinical services, therapeutic mentoring, support and consultation to young people and staff at schools, agencies and nonprofit organizations. Together, the programs engage more than 500 youth and families each year and have an indirect impact on thousands more.

You’ve met Areesh. Now, he’s reacting to what our 2025 TEEPers had to say about their summer experience. ☀️🍦

For students like Areesh, TEEP is a community where memories are made, confidence grows, and learning is collaborative and joyful.

Want to hear more stories from Areesh and his friends? Join us at the 19th Annual Bostonians for Youth Gala on June 4 as we celebrate the power of our healing-centered programming. 💙💚

We 💙 Team Trinity!!

This past Saturday, Team Trinity hit the road for the 36th Annual Rodman Ride for Kids! 🚴

With 29 adult riders, 5 youth riders, and 3 virtual participants/sponsors, our community came together across generations to support Trinity Boston Connects’ healing-centered youth programs.

Together, we’ve raised over $40,000 (and counting!) to help Boston youth feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

THANK YOU to every rider, donor, volunteer, and cheerleader who made the day so special!

Meet Areesh: high school junior and long-time TEEP Counselor. ☀️

For Areesh, TEEP is a community that’s shaped his approach to school and life. “Something that has changed about me throughout TEEP is my patience. I learned that [TEEPers] are growing and I’m also growing.”

In just one month, we’re excited to welcome Areesh as a featured youth speaker at the 19th Annual Bostonians for Youth Gala where he’ll share more about his journey and the impact of programs like TEEP.

Join us in celebrating young leaders like Areesh - tix available at the link below! 🎟️

Outtakes from a Sole Train practice at the Mendell in JP earlier this month! 💚 Young Soles (students) ran alongside Old Soles (adult mentors & school staff) at Franklin Park as part of their school-year-long training.

Across 6 school sites, 150 Young Soles completed our Sole Train 5K last October. Now, they're preparing to take on the Run to Remember 5-mile course this May with the support of safe adult mentors, after-school trainings, and plenty of free running gear from TBC & our partners. 💙

If you'd like to help us receive a donation towards Sole Train and meet some of our young runners, come volunteer with us at the Run to Remember bib pickup Saturday, May 23! If we bring 25 volunteers, Sole Train receives a $500 donation. Sign up at the link here (select "Supporting Sole Train"): https://www.runreg.com/volunteer-bostons-run-to-remember
