World Ocean School Experiential education, public sails, and private charter events aboard our two historic tall ships.

World Ocean School exists to provide students of all backgrounds with immersive opportunities to learn to care for themselves, their crew, and the ir ship, becoming vessels of change in the world they inherit. We operate programs aboard the traditionally rigged schooners Roseway and Denis Sullivan.

A few more moments from three days at sea with the 6th graders from Our Sisters’ School. ⛵

We loved watching the students find their rhythm aboard Denis Sullivan and are grateful to Our Sisters’ School for adventuring with us .

Already looking forward to the next one. Our Sisters' School

1 day left till Fall 🍂 means we have one more summer lookback!

Today we’re looking back at our program with Sail Portsmouth . New Hampshire students spent several days aboard Denis Sullivan before sailing into Portsmouth together for the Tall Ship Festival’s Parade of Sail.

We’ve been partnering with Sail Portsmouth since 2016, helping connect local students with the ocean and the maritime world.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from their time aboard!

Our summer lookback continues with 5 days till fall. 🍂

Today we’re looking back at our 8-day program with BINcA!. Students sailed aboard Denis Sullivan from Boston to New York.

Now in our fourth year working with BINcA, this program gives recently immigrated Boston students the chance to explore new places, practice English, and experience life aboard a tall ship.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from their week aboard!
