This fall, Open Door Gallery was lucky to collaborate with UMass Amherst "Design Thinking for Social Innovation” class led by Professor Jeff Kasper and Teaching Assistant Kiran Jandu. (Jeff is also on our gallery committee!)
Over the semester, students worked in interdisciplinary teams to co-create accessible and inclusive materials for print, social media, and gallery wayfinding.
We recently received the brochures they designed for the Open Door Gallery!! Can we say, WOW!
The 11x17" brochures share information about the gallery, its mission, access features, and where to find it within the museum. It also unfolds to become a poster artwork you can display!
We are excited to share more of these design assets (like new signage and buttons!) with you as they are introduced to the gallery. Thank you so much to Jeff, Kiran, and the students for their dedication and thoughtful, accessible designs.
