The Community Center - TCC Proudly Serving the Treasure Valley LGBTQIA+ community since 1983. TCC is a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization that has been serving the community since 1983.

The Community Center is a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ and allied organizations and individuals in the Treasure Valley. We help q***r folks find belonging and community by providing fun and meaningful events and support groups at our facility and beyond. And we help inform folks about other local LGBTQIA+ events and resources, run a q***r lending library with over 3,600 titles, and run a food pantry for community members experiencing food insecurity.

October 11 is National Coming Out Day, where we sashay out of the closet to show the world that everyone knows and loves someone who's part of the LGBTQIA+ family.

Being loudly q***r and/or trans in an environment that would rather keep us quiet helps erode phobias, build support systems, and expand safe havens to make life easier for all of us.

Just so we're q***r, it's not always safe for everyone to be out; your identity is valid and your community loves you whether you're in or out! 🩷

On the eve of National Coming Out Day, we're coming out of the kitchen with chili to celebrate our volunteers!
On October 10, 2026, come warm up with a bowl of beans, from mildly q***r to flamin' hot, with vegan and meaty options available. Current and future volunteers are welcome; we'll have info about how to get involved and details about our open volunteer positions. Also, attendees get a free raffle entry to win one of two $20 gift cards generously donated by Black Moon Pizza and Broadcast Coffee!
