Gr8ter We Are Gr8ter. We believe in mental health recovery. We empower people to overcome mental health struggles in order to live the lives they desire.

Gr8ter empowers people affected by mental and emotional struggles to overcome the shame that may be holding them back so they can reach their full potential. For so many of us, a diagnosis or struggle can bring on feelings of hopelessness or that we can’t achieve what we really want. YOU deserve to have Gr8ter joy, Gr8ter relationships, and Gr8ter success. We believe that all people can reach their full potential when they have the mindset, support and tools they need. At Gr8ter, you will find us, people just like you, who are not just striving, but thriving as we live, work, and play in spite of the labels put on us by the world. Picture this:
You are in a mental health crisis or homeless. Really in the depths of it. Given up all hope.

Then you get a care package from Gr8ter.

It includes Bombas socks (which are so comfy and plush btw) some sort of chapstick or soap or lotion some sort of extra love and a note of encouragement....just try to imagine how incredible that would feel. To have just a glimmer of hope. That there are organizations, people and facilities that want you to know you aren't alone.

Our sock project isn't just about these amazing socks. It's about spreading hope, one pair of socks at a time.

Guess what?! Sock Project is next! We had a large turn out for Top of Tamarack such as participants, sponsors, social media shares, news segements, and donations (big and small) and volunteers.

With our sock project coming up we will be calling on our community to help! Keep your eyes peeled in the next few months to see how you can be involved and help.

Not only did the sunrise show up for us on race day but so did our sponsors and swag! Huge thank you to Becca, race director and leader of all things Top of Tamarack, and Allen at Route 52 for designing these incredible merch items! We had so many items sold. Those proceeds go to helping us grow as an organization! So thank you to all of you who show for Gr8ter and to Route 52 for supporting Top of Tamarack/Gr8ter for years.

One of our favorite parts of events like Top of Tamarack is the connections that continue long after race day.

For the past two years, Thunderhill Showdown has made the trip from Lapwai, Idaho to show up for Top of Tamarack, bringing swag, support, and some seriously great energy with them.

We are SO grateful for community partners who show up for each other and believe in what we’re building. These are the kinds of connections we hope continue to grow year after year.

Now it’s our turn to show up for them! We’d LOVE to see some familiar faces from our Gr8ter and Top of Tamarack community at Thunderhill Showdown next year.
