Mini Joys Mini Joys, Inc. Big-hearted volunteers and sweet minis make it happen! Luke's Children's Hospital, area Libraries, Boys and Girls Clubs, and many more.

is a charitable organization (501c3) whose purpose is to promote joy, hope, and healing for those facing physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges. We have outreach programs in five main areas:
* Special Education Settings: often focusing on children on the Autism Spectrum in the Boise and West Ada School Districts. The minis and go into their classrooms to make some very special connections.
* At-Risk Youth and Teens: using the minis to help teach a variety of life lessons, building trust, self-esteem, and confidence.
* Seniors: visits to Assisted Living and Memory Care Centers to spread JOY
* Children with physical disabilities, or the medically fragile child: Bringing the joy of interaction with the tiny horses, experiencing the Mini Ranch -including the wheelchair accessible tree house, too. Fun for the entire family!
* Supporting other Non-Profit Outreach programs in the Treasure Valley such as The Women's and Children's Alliance, St.

Our director, Laurie, and our founding horse, Levi, would like to INVITE YOU to join us for the FALL OPEN HOUSE at the Mini Ranch! It's this Sunday, October 4th between 2:00-3:30. It's free, and a chance to enjoy the mini horses, little goats, explore the ranch, the big tree house, and play a little corn hole or ladder ball. There's light refreshments, too, at no cost!

Mini Joys loved being a part of BSU’s Su***de Prevention Week! Today was “Muffins, Mental Health & Mini Horses” and what a joyful day! We had many great conversations with students as we encouraged them to use their unique passions, strengths, and talents to step out and make the world a brighter place! ☀️❤️👏

This was such a beautiful visit. The residents of Edgewood Eagle Island are so well loved. They had many residents who had a long history as horsewomen and we loved hearing thier stories! Our crew enjoyed bringing them extra JOY along with that "wonderful smell of horses" that makes all of the best memories come flooding in! 🐴❤️

Well, there’s no time to lounge on the patio chaise but at least it makes a great place to dry the freshly cleaned halters and leads. And did we mention, the bathtub makes a super place to launder them - no time for a relaxing bubble bath anyway!🤣🐴❤️
