The Idaho Jazz Society is a charitable 501(c)3 corporation formed in 1990 concurrent with the planning of the first annual Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree. It was specifically intended to work in partnership with that festival by providing volunteers to help it run smoothly, and to continue its subsequent reputation as the premiere traditional jazz festival in the country. We had our annual Scholarship Student Showcase this last Monday at the Sandbar. These kids REALLY showed up and showed out. What an amazing group of students we have representing IJEE. There was not a dragon 🐉 left standing when the Dragon Slayers finish at the Sandbar tonight. We are SO FREAKING PROUD of these kids. They are really putting in the work and, with each performance, step it up another notch. Our scholarship money is well placed with each of them. Sabrina Marie Thomas, Chris Nunn, Ben Graham, Christine Nygard & Zack Cornell.
