Yesterday, we joined the World Refugee Day celebration hosted by the Idaho Office for Refugees , a powerful gathering of organizations, community leaders, volunteers, law enforcement, and refugee families.

It was inspiring to see so many people come together in one space, united by a shared commitment to resilience, inclusion, and opportunity. We were especially encouraged by the organizations working every day to create pathways to services, stability, and long term success for newcomers in Idaho.

Events like this remind us that building welcoming communities is not the work of one group, but the result of collaboration, compassion, and shared responsibility.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared their stories, and continues to support refugee and immigrant communities across our state.

Every child deserves a chance to learn, dream, and build a brighter future, no matter where they come from.

Through our Education for All Abilities (EAA) Project, we are supporting refugee students in refugee camps with education, hope, and opportunities because we believe education changes lives. Together, we can empower the next generation to rise beyond challenges and reach their full potential.

Last Tuesday, HASNet and our partner Aimon Youth Foundation distributed school uniforms to refugee students in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, helping restore dignity and support their journey in education.
