We provide powerful international travel and leadership opportunities to high school students from diverse backgrounds.

Global Glimpse is a non-profit organization that partners with high-performing high schools to provide a two-year leadership, civic engagement, and college preparatory program centered on an inspiring summer travel experience in the developing world.

Who better to help you prepare for a journey than someone who's already taken it?!

During their final pre-trip meeting, Global Glimpse alumni at Independence High School helped prepare this year's Glimpsers for their travel experience by sharing the big moments that stood out from their own travels last summer. They also shared insider tips, like what they wished they'd packed more or less of!

Alumni mentorship helps students feel prepared for the intellectual and emotional transformation they experience with Global Glimpse and builds leadership skills every step of the way - before, during, and after the trip.

Our first delegation of students arrive in the country in just a few days and we can't wait for them to experience the power of immersive travel.

Today we're celebrating our partners at Oyate Group!

Since 2023, this Bronx-based organization has sponsored 24 students through its Rise Leadership Program, a year-round program that inspires high school sophomores and juniors to become creators, critical thinkers, and social change-makers across the five boroughs of New York.

Rise Leadership students arrive ready. They push past their comfort zones, connect across cultures, and come home with a bigger vision of what is possible for themselves and the people around them.

Thank you to the entire Oyate Group team for believing in the power of travel and for opening doors for students across New York year after year.

Global Glimpse alumni were recently welcomed to an in-person Career Day with our incredible partners at Expedia Group in New York City!

This marked our 4th year partnering with Expedia for this powerful event, and the energy in the room said it all. Alumni came ready with questions, mentors came ready to share, and the conversations that followed were exactly what this work is all about.

Thank you to the entire Expedia Group team. Not only for helping make transformative travel possible for our students, but for continuing to show up for our alumni long after the trip is over. That investment means everything.

This summer, seven Global Glimpse alumni from California are returning... not as students, but as leaders!

They've been there. They know what it feels like to not know the group you're traveling with but to take a leap of faith in the experience, and to be changed for the better because of it. And now they are showing up to create that experience for the next generation of Glimpsers.

Special shoutout to GGL Jazz from OSA, who is heading back to Constanza this summer, exactly 10 years after her own Global Glimpse trip. A true full circle moment!

This is what investment in young people looks like over time. We could not be prouder!

Every student who steps off a plane into their new adventure, pushes past their comfort zone, and comes home changed... that journey starts with a teacher who believed in them first.
