System Impacted means: any individual impacted by the carceral system; but it does not mean that the individual has been arrested or sentenced to jail/prison etc.

It’s such a privilege to build an organization like RCA; and even more powerful when your own hometown heroes help lead the way. 💯💯💯

This fall semester, our youth were encouraged and empowered by RCA Youth Mentor Marcus Sanders through our Values, Attitudes & Behaviors (VAB) Youth Resilience Program. What started as my vision has become our organization—one where we build leaders on top of leaders.

Big shout out to you, Marcus. This is leadership in action.
