Parent Training & Information Center at DREDF We serve families of children with disabilities from birth up to age 26.

Our Education Advocates empower parents, caregivers, and youth with disabilities (or suspected disabilities) in 30 Northern California counties to know and understand their rights. DREDF’s PTI can help families:
- Obtain appropriate education and services for their children with disabilities
- Work to improve education results for all children
- Train and inform parents and professionals on a vari

ety of topics
- Resolve problems between families and schools or other agencies
- Connect children with disabilities to community resources that address their needs

We serve parents, youth, and professionals in the following Central and Northern California counties: Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquín, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba.
