Whatcom Feline Alliance Life-affirming cat rescue in Whatcom County. We are a shelter built with heart, not walls!

We provide foster care, rehoming assistance, and TNR support through trapping, transport, and coordination, promoting compassion and community engagement. WFA is a no-kill, pro-TNR foster care system based "virtual" shelter with the primary mission of saving and improving the lives of Whatcom County's feline population.

Bagheera & Yoshi are back from foster care and looking for their forever home!

This sweet pair was returned through no fault of their own - their foster realized she didn't have the time to give them the daily attention and playtime they deserve. That was a kind and responsible decision for them, and we're grateful they came back safe to us.

About them: Affectionate, social, litter-box perfect, and they love to be near their people. They were wonderful in their foster home and just need a stable, consistent home ready for a long-term commitment.

Ideal home: Indoor-only, calm and consistent, able to give daily play and affection. Like all cats, they will need time to decompress in a new home - 3 days to hide and settle, 3 weeks to learn the routine, 3 months to truly feel at home. That's normal.

We are volunteer-run, so we are looking for a stable placement until adoption.

Asking for fosters again. We helped spay neuter some cats at a trailer park and have since learned they have been abandoned. According to the neighbor feeding them-drug use and eviction. We would like to help give these deserving cats a second chance but need fosters to do so.

Running on fumes! We fixed 5 ferals last week from 3 different locations and this week we are set to TNR 10. We also have weekly vet costs, food, medication, and supplies for all the cats in our care.

A very unfortunate situation has occurred and a feral colony that we previously provided TNR services for NEEDS OUR HELP!!!

A Whatcom County feral colony caretaker has unexpectedly passed away leaving behind a very uncertain future for approximately (70) feral cats, semi feral cats, and possibly some friendly(?) cats.
