Our fundamental values include:

Community Partnerships - We offer education for community members. We partner with four Washington State prisons as inmate-trainers work with our dogs. Accessibility - We primarily work with clients within 3 hours of Bellingham WA. We work with service members based out of Washington who have been diagnosed with PTSD or TBI, and we work with families who have young

children with disabilities. Service - We provide trained dogs to Veterans, children and adults with disabilities. We offer continued support long after the team graduates from our program. Sustainability - We strive for financial self-sufficiency.

We just hit the halfway mark! 💙

Thanks to this community, Brigadoon has raised just over $140,000 toward our $250,000 emergency campaign goal.

With one month left, every gift matters. Thanks to two generous donors, we now have $35,000 in total matching gifts — and the next $15,000 in donations will still be matched dollar for dollar.

But we’re also thinking beyond July 1. Brigadoon needs steady support year-round to keep service dogs in training and current teams supported.

Right now, we have 18 amazing monthly donors helping sustain this work. Will you join them?

Become a monthly donor today, and your first twelve gifts will be doubled while matching funds remain.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. đŸ‡ș🇾

We’re also thinking of the veterans still waiting for support.

One veteran applicant shared that a service dog could help anchor them during panic and anxiety, ease the feeling of always being “on alert,” and remind them they are safe in their own life.

Brigadoon recently passed the halfway mark toward our $250,000 emergency campaign goal, and right now, your gift can still be doubled while matching funds remain.

Will you give today to help keep service dogs in training for the veterans waiting to be matched?

Shout out to Sanitary Service Company, Inc. (SSC) for sponsoring our finish line booth at Ski to Sea! đŸŸ

SSC has been a long-time supporter of Brigadoon, and we’re so grateful for their continued generosity. We love getting to spend the day at the finish line cheering on teams, talking with the community, and sharing our dogs with everyone.

One recent applicant wrote that their world has become “extremely small.”

Places like grocery stores and restaurants now feel overwhelming and unsafe. For them, a service dog could help make those everyday places feel possible again.

This is why Brigadoon’s emergency campaign matters. Every dog in training represents a future person waiting for greater safety, confidence, and independence.

Will you help make everyday places feel possible again?

Don’t forget, if you donate today, your gift will still be doubled! brigadoondogs.org/donate

For the people on Brigadoon’s waitlist, a service dog could mean getting part of their life back.

These are not hypothetical needs. They come from real people who recently applied to Brigadoon and are now waiting for a service dog.

Brigadoon’s waitlist is full, and while these applicants wait, our dogs need to keep moving through training so future teams can be matched.

Because a generous donor stepped up with a $25,000 matching gift, when you donate, your gift will be doubled!

Malia and Dawson are Brigadoon’s newest puppies, and their journey toward becoming future service dogs is just beginning.

Like every puppy in our program, they were carefully bred with service work in mind and are now building the foundation they’ll need for the path ahead.

These puppies have the potential to become life-changing service dogs — and we want to make sure they get that chance.

In just one week, this community has raised $108,100 toward our $250,000 emergency campaign goal. Plus, gifts are currently being matched up to $25,000, with $16,200 still needed to unlock the full match.

Please donate today. Your gift will do twice the good and help keep puppies like Malia and Dawson in training.

Big news: your gift can go twice as far!

Just three days after launching our emergency campaign, our community has already helped raise more than $80,000 toward our $250,000 goal.

Now, thanks to an incredibly generous donor, every gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000.

That means your gift today has twice the impact for service dogs in training, clients waiting, and the future of Brigadoon!

Please give today to unlock the full match:
