Moveable Feast Delivering medically tailored meals in Maryland to feed people, fortify health, and foster hope. We deliver hope.

We are driving our 30-year commitment forward to treat chronic illnesses with food as medicine. An increasing number of Marylanders live without the necessary access, financial resources, and support to achieve their best quality of life. Moveable Feast’s work is grounded in our evidenced-based approach to medically tailored nutrition and commitment to food security in Maryland. We believe in the power of food – and the force of our work – which improves health outcomes statewide. Our movement to reach, teach, and feed Marylanders living with serious chronic illness continues to gain momentum as medically tailored meals are recognized on a national level for their contribution to improved health and reduced costs. It is time to set a place at the table for anyone in need of our services. Simply, no one should have to choose between feeding their family and fortifying their health.

On Tuesday, Dr. Seshamani, Secretary of Health for Maryland, visited Moveable Feast to connect with our staff and volunteers!

Over the past couple of weeks, the Maryland Department of Health has joined us on many occasions to volunteer as a group in the kitchen, helping package and bag meals for our clients. ❤️

Over the last couple of weeks, Maryland Department of Health volunteers have:

🍽️ Packaged: 16,488 meals
🛍️ Bagged: 26,152 meals

We’re grateful for our partnership with the Maryland Department of Health for its Medically Tailored Meals Program, and for the time they’ve spent working alongside our staff to help ensure nutritious meals reach our clients. ❤️

This partnership will allow us to serve 600,000 meals and 3,000 clients in 2026. ✅
